Director of the Office of Youth Formation

Director of the Office of Youth Formation Description: The Director of the Office of Youth Formation works with the Secretary of Christian Formation to implement the vision for making disciples in the Diocese of Joliet for young children through high school. Provides resources, services and training to parish leadership to achieve the goals and objectives for the diocese. This is a full-time exempt position, with benefits that will require frequent driving throughout the diocese. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Requirements: Master's degree in Theology or Catechetics preferred, with previous experience working in these areas. Passion to make disciples. Knowledge and understanding of the New Evangelization, including methodology and best practices with the goal of intentional discipleship. Ability to motivate others to try new things for the formation of youth. Spanish writing and speaking skills a plus. Familiarity with other cultures. Excellent organizational ability and initiative. Excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritize work according to volume, time constraints and demand. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Proficient in web design and management and web publishing programs. This is a ministerial position and must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
